ended up buying a broken ps4 and teaching myself to fix it to justify getting a console for one game. i have one game for it. Bloodborne. I paid for PS+, for one game. I bought one used ps4 controller, for one game. i bought aluminum joysticks.....bc i was proud of how savvy i got with the tech repair and wanted to stand out ha.

but seriously. its damn near worth it. playing this game makes me feel young, its such a breath of fresh air.

Probably not

I think that the most "ludo" a game can get is one that pushes you to "get in the zone." When you absolutely lose yourself in the game not due to immersion but because you are so engaged with the media that you feel that you are not merely playing anymore. It does not need to be challenging, but I find that difficulty pushes me to zone into the game and pull off what I had thought impossible for me.

If high art works to engage your imagination using the strong points of its medium to engage the consumer, should games not have the same goal if they wish to strive for art? For a game to achiev "ludo" it must not only be able to played with, but able to be actively engaged with.
