I'd like a Mega Man game with a deeper lore and a greater understanding of the world, that would be pretty cool. The Battle Network series had it right but visually it's not that interesting. Legends was headed in the ight direction with the whole alien shit to make it mor einteresting but that's no longer happening. Something mission based, customization and semi open maps for exploration.

Meh. MM is fortunate in the sense that the fangames actually do a decent job of making up for Capcom's apathy. Maybe it'll have its Sonic Mania moment in a few years and Capcom will figure out how to move forward. Until then, I look forward to the new Anniversary arrangement CDs that have become a staple and enjoy the games, hacks and fan releases that already exist.

it doesn't feel like a 'new' character who transforms into megaman, or is evoking megamans power, but just a generic 'thing' that is designed to look like megaman because thats a preexisting brand. like wise it doesn't feel like a variation on his actual lore of being Rock first, then Rockman. mega mans default lore can easily change to 'he transforms into rockman as a battle mode' and still be Rock the human/android etc at all otehr times.

it feels like a halfassed fart to keep a license around by doign 'something' with it rather than an honest effort.

This new Megaman cartoon is basically just a generic western "kid is secretly a superhero" story except instead of the kid turning into a generic superhero, he turns into a generic superhero who had the name "Megaman slapped onto it"

The ZX games were also good. It will not surprise me at all if this show sucks.
