Sure it does. He was a duse that wanted to u leash the darkness and rule everything there you go. They would have been better off sticking with that instead of making him actually the nobody or heartless of some guy that was originally a keyblade master and a scientist that is immortal or something and makes copies of himself and his nobody and heartless are different entities but still like the same person or something.

Man KH story isn't complicated necessarily, but its so convoluted that you either need autism or to be a big fan of shit shonen anime like Bleach and Naruto to bother figuring it out and keeping up with it. I loved the games when I was younger, but once it got to the point where they were releasing games that actually mattered to the story across multiple platforms as well as releasing like 3 different versions of each game I said fuck it. I mean by this point it has to be one of the most expensive series to keep up with and play aside from MMO's and shit but it is not worth it at all. The combat really isn't anything super special and the story is basically the Madara Uchiha copypasta.

You are right, they would and honestly they should, from a gameplay perspective it was pretty trash, the whole keyblade specific combo deal and the monotonous grind side shit in the game, it got pretty old, no denying, but underneath that there is actually a pretty damn cool story (as far as kingdom Hearts goes) with really interesting details about fairly important characters, it changes your entire perspective on the beginning of 2. Not to mention the dope ass Coop mode, if they actually fleshed out the organization people for a fun coop mode it would be awesome.

As it stands now 358 is just some bullshit fluff they add in to make it seem like their repacks have more content then they really do.

If you're not meming and are actually autistic enough to think that BBS has even remotely good combat, here's it's main flaws that ruin it that are not present in either KH1 or KH2:

- Bosses are completely inconsistent in their stagger points and have cheap moves the only way to avoid it is to dodge spam..
-.. which is a fucking cancer design - most superboss fights are just spam square until your thumbs are numb because dodge rolls for Aqua and Ventus have full invincibility when maxed out and are the only safe option against bullshit moves.
- Balancing in BBS is complete trash. You can abuse three commands - magnet, thunder and surge of any kind.
- Physical combos don't have any fluidity and impact and are overal just useless.
- Shotlocks are even worse than reaction commands not only being glorified qtes, but also being so cheap and long to come out, it's ridiculous
- Movement and mobility of the characters is slow and janky
- Did I mention absolute shit bosses desings in terms of gamepaly?

Final Ansem took me the longest to beat, but I realised it was pretty easy once you know how to avoid his projectile spam. Xemnas was supposed to be difficult, but I beat him on my first try. But yeah, apart from these two, I had no no fun with any of the bosses. Even the Armored Sora at the end was really lacklustre (except for the music).

The actual game breaking stuff (where the only real bad thing was the crashing on save screen) from the 60 FPS has been sorted now.

People are still saying there's an annoying QTE bug for the final boss. Which has been around for year. And there's an issue when you fight the the super secret boss you fight after unlocking pretty much everything (e.g. a fight about 88% of the players won't ever get to).

I still hope there's another patch coming though to fix the tiny shit left over.

General sum up of everything that's been happening about the port up until now, in chronological order.

1-The 1.5+2.5 PS4 port has been out in japan for a while now, and it has a number of technical problems.

2-The KH community, spearheaded by the KH speedrunning community and especially long time KH runner Bizkit047, have been extremely vocal about the issues of the port.
He personally compiled a pastebin with all the major issues:

3-All of this was noticed by Polygon, and they made an article about it:

But there's tangible proof that they're listening to the community, especially that pastebin, the japanese patch has actually fixed shit like certain bosses gauges filling up at insane speed, now they fill up normally.

Kinda. Your magic and especially your summons are actually even stronger than normal (due to the damage storage exploit) but your melee is pretty shit (almost chip damage).

Additionally, you can never get killed in one hit (enemy damage is set to your max HP -1, and in certain fights 1/3 or 1/4 of max), so your HP should be as low as possible (so that 1 cure heals all).

KH1 lvl1/Proud is not recommended.

Actually to be perfectly honest the ONLY game in the entire series to be completely balanced for lvl1/Crit is KH2FM.
That's it.
Every other game in the series doesn't have good enough damage.
KH2FM has a set of systems working in the background ensuring that a crit/1 run is actually doable and enjoyable.
