Long ass load time, optimal combos, and the crazy amount of hitstun on block really slowed down the game for me. I can handle a slow fighting game, but holy god if this is not the slowest 2-D fighting game out there right now. And that includes things outside the gameplay.

Kolin is pretty fun but i dont like that they made her flurry move QCF+Punch or button mash. shes also got really short range on almost all of her normals, and her ice ball attack doesnt land if you hit them with the initial punch - feels like they should link up, at least on the EX

It is unga when you can do that all day long with pretty much all day long and get good rewards out of it, it is a non-stop offensive game that rewards offensive a lot more than any other style especially because crush counters lead to even more advantage. It is so Unga that looks like a KOF match zoomed in.

Also the neutral game on SF5 is pretty weak due to those weird asshitboxes and the extremely close neutral game with shitload of blockstun and short normals.

It is just a game i don't enjoy playing but i still have hopes to be something i might enjoy with the new character releases.

Other games have that too, some with varying effects on counters, but in SF5 they have more weight into them.

Not entirely sure if this sentence even makes sense, especially taking the context of the conversation i was having with the other anon(not sure if it is the same anon), but if you are referring to giefs V-skill balrog can simply use it in a safe distance enough to give you white-recoverable health and not get hit by your Flex move or your SPD. He can also dash after that or even cancel/fake it into a grab, breaking you flex/vskill.
He is still going Unga on you.

You said that Balrog's are only using his moves when he's at a safe distance, by definition that means he can't be going all offense on you at all times because Balrog simply isn't safe at all distances, this also necessitates him to be moving back constantly allowing you to walk him into the corner
In this scenario you are completely in control of the offense, not him
