It's actually pretty retarded to double team the last enemy in 2v2. It's not like you're actually gaining anything by winning, other than worthless points. If you just gang up and have one spam light attacks while the other spams unblockables victory is almost guaranteed. People are way too eager to run straight into fights instead of actually winning the round, they want kills not wins. I cant get into the 1v1 matches simply because there is a great divide in the player skill in the game, they are either complete shit in which fights are quick and lame, or they style on you without you within seconds.

Exanima is clunky and takes hours of idiotic grinding just to properly participate, and in the end you might as well fight in the first stage fights because everything but the Ogre is exactly the same no matter how far up you go. Something the .webms people post for Exanima don't show is the idiotic dancing you have to do just to get within range, and then have your attack whiff because you or your opponent suddenly lurches in and you flail your arms on one another.

Exanima's a meme game with a shit tier "It's just too difficult for you, scrub" fanbase that it tore off of DaS. And the Devs encourage that, which is even worse.

Clearly you haven't played Exanima recently. They recently added a ton of functionality to arena mode, adding skill levels, recruitment, a match board, and a shopkeeper. Plus, the game's entire purpose is to just showoff the engine for Sui Generis.

It should speak volumes that a game made by a team of ~5 people can make more realistic fighting than a AAA title can. And will get free updates regularly, rather than two release-hotfixes and a bunch of "paid" additional content.

The last time I played was just after the outdoor arena update, though my furthest go into tue Arena was just after The Beast was Introduced. The grind to get to even Adept was a tough climb even by MMO standards, especially considering the prices of items in comparison to how quickly opponents get the same items. Mechanically the game is fine, albeit clunky, though there isn't much of a gap between the skill entrance and its ceiling, high as they are. The major thing is the background of grinding experience and gold, which both seem to be VERY slow (Though apparently the latter has been somewhat fixed, I haven't been able to try the most recent patch out.)

For Honor seems the opposite, with a lower entrance but higher ceiling and more emphasis on learning how to counter your opponent rather than to work with what you have.

While I consider For Honor to be the better game, Exanima has very good potential to be great, and it remains to be seen how the devs will work with it

for those who don't understand, the guy is wearing a ring that makes him white, and then casting the hidden body spell to become transparent. in dark souls, there are occasionally "shades" of other players than appear in your world for a couple seconds before fading away. I also don't see a problem with waiting for your teammate to finish his fight in a 2v2. I don't want to fuck up what he's doing, I don't want to give the enemy the revenge, and if my teammate dies or things are looking grim, I can step in.

Brandon just seems like he is upset that people aren't playing the "right" way (which is the way he decides.)

Why are the fast assassin like classes so broken. As much as I'm enjoying the game the orochi and peacekeeper just ruin experience for me. I'm finding that light attacks tend to push shit in for orochi but in yet to figure out the best way to take on peacekeeper.

parries and stun attacks are the way. I played raider, and PK gave me a lot of trouble before I started parrying, dazing them, and then getting a couple heavy attacks in. They get scared as fuck when their health drops all at once like that.
