I'd say start out getting used to WASD while using the mouse to turn.

I also wouldn't use number keybinds above 5 or 6, depending on what's comfortable for you. Use letters/mouse buttons that are free to fill out the rest, and then Shift/ctrl+ whatever for extra bars, though keybinds are a matter of preference.

Keyboard and Mouse is so easy in this game, it's all muscle memory. I don't know how people can play this damn game with a controller because targeting is fucked without a mouse. You have to cycle between targets which is a huge waste of time in PVP and these new fights with lots of adds.

I quit Legion back in October or so and have been playing FFXIV for a little over two years.

I think WoW is still a superior game in a few ways but Blizzard managed to fuck over their own game by making the game more and more a Skinner Box than some Free to Play Korean MMOs. They've introduced Diablo style loot (Can't just hope for the drop: gotta hope for a good Titanforged roll as well!) and a constant chase of Artifact Power that Blizzard has shown they will never let you cap Talent points. FFXIV has daily/weekly caps to show you to go off and do something else: WoW uses time gated caps to let you know you'll never keep up unless you keep playing.

I never had the feeling that I was playing more because I had to than because I wanted to than I did in Legion.
