Nah, northstar can be used to pretty great efficiency if you play him right. I'm personally not great at it, but I've seen him used to great effectiveness against good players. Similar to scorch, a lot of it is getting your spacing and distance down

I want to get good at scorch but i'm garbage

If you think Northstar is the weakest titan you're clearly low level and probably main Tone and think you're skillful for doing that.

Northstar is the titan that comes out of matches with the most titan kills.

Northstar is good if you use it for specific situations. How useful it is is also dependent on the level though. In large open areas (Angel City/Black Water Canal) Northstar can literally hold it's own against 3-4 enemy Titans by itself. In small areas (Complex/Drydock) you're gonna be constantly relying on friendly titans to tank damage while taking popshots.
Also, never hover unless you need to escape from a situation.

Legion and Scorch- Stay away from and take pop shots behind corners. Keep retreating away from and never let them have a clear shot. They can barely hurt you. If they get the drop on you, fly up and around them and dash away.

Tone and Ion. Bound to take decent damage at the same time, but if you're quick you can damage them before popping back into cover. If they get the drop on you, honestly...
Well, you're kinda SOL.

Ronin- If you engage them at long distance, you tear them apart, just hope you don't miss. They can close the gap quick and once that happens, you're pretty much dead.

But Ronin is the most useless titan. He's only good if the other player ever fucks up. If they decide, "hey, I'll just stay back here shooting people", and they almost always do, then he's fucking useless.

Ronin is really useful against pilots in the early game. However once the enemy team starts calling in other Titans its usefulness starts to expire. I've seen skilled players do pretty well with it but I honestly wonder if they'd be doing a lot better in something else.

The problem with Ronin is that as a melee-focused Titan he has all the weaknesses that make a melee approach nonviable: melee knockback and can be executed (even in Core).

If it was exempt from those two weaknesses it'd give it a seriously big advantage and uniqueness in close range combat. Otherwise, meh.

People underestimate how good can pilots be in TvT, if you know your titan is not going to last longer, and you have no core/ anything useful to do, get out of it and make yourself useful as a pilot.

Get batteries, chunk titans with amped weapons and support your team.

Learn to go fast and you can shit on any titan as a pilot.

Scorch is lowkey overpowered. You can set up traps and then flank mother fuckers. If they get close you burn their shit up with your flame shield. Scorch is the most rewarding Titan if you can trick people, and tricking people in video games isn't hard.

still alive, even on PC. population isn't super high compared to games like battlefield obviously, but it's high enough and quite stable. I got it last week and don't regret it at all. Some of the game modes aren't well-populated but I've never had to wait longer than 40 seconds or so to get into a match, even playing at really weird hours. it'll be going for a while; it's unique among MP shooters for its speed and movement system so people who like it are going to keep playing it. As a bonus, the campaign is actually really fun and a good tutorial.

like the other guy said, you really couldn't be more wrong. you need decent accuracy to gun someone down, some projectile weapons are instakills on direct hits but that's hard to line up. And with abilities like the stim and phase shift there are a lot of ways to take some damage and then escape

I highly, highly recommend PC. Watch some footage on youtube of the game being played on PC and on console; it's an entirely different beast on the two platforms.

It's flopped in sales, yeah, but there's still plenty of people playing. The "i dont wanna buy it cuz it might die" fags are part of the problem, if they bought it the base would be bigger. But it's totally stable as is.

The reason it flopped financially and doesn't have a bigger overall playerbase is fucking EA. released it the same week as battlefield one and infinite warfare
