The thing I cant wait for is Dragon Ball XenoVerse 3.

A few lines about Gohan's potential doesn't make DBZ about Gohan. Saiyan Saga focused on Goku's origins first, and then focused on everyone training to face the Saiyans. The fight against Nappa was entirely about buying time for Goku to arrive.
Frieza Saga may have been about Gohan / Vegeta / Frieza's shenanigans first, but Goku entirely took the spotlight after he arrived, and the entire final was about him reaching Super Saiyan and avenging Krillin.
He was also not that relevant in Cell until they got out of the ROSAT, Trunks, Cell and the Androids took most of the plot scenes.

He had a role for sure, yes (and he was definitely more relevant than in Super where he's a living joke), but he was only the series' protagonist when he had to fight Cell and where he decided to become a Kamen Rider.

Not button mashy, literally have to use combos, supers and ultimates correctly or you lose. Game is an mmo and a fighter and has alot of customization and fun game modes. Way more content then Street Fighter, Tekken and Mortal Combat.

If you like DB at all, I recommend XV2 as it is a strict upgrade from XV1. If you tire of "normal" fighters then I also recommend it.

Like I said XV2 is good and I recommend it. Is like an mmo and a fighter. Also as 3v3 and 6v1(boss) modes that are a blast. Balancing, mechanics and customization has been fixed to it's way better than the first.
