It's gotten a lot better. It's more balanced than it's ever been and has a pretty good amount of content. It still needs more polish, but it's going pretty good for once. Who knows how long that will last though.

The game has gone through a lot of bullshit since it first go released in Early Access. The most recent update has made the game a lot better, but it still needs some fixing to make it just right. If you played the first Killing Floor, then you more or less know what to expect right now. If not, i would say just wait for it to get finished, and then consider getting it.
