It's going to be some arsty indie game you can beat by holding down a single movement key so you can 'win' easy too. No skill required.

What do you need to get in to MTG? For the rank newbie, a starter deck is probably a good place. Some of them are decent too, but how much of the game do you need to experience to realize which one is good and how it's good? The ruleset is decently complex, and you have to learn various card interactions to know how strategy works in MTG. You'll still want some boosters too. Even if you want a starter deck, you'll probably also want to customize it just a bit. Knowing how to successfully do so.. goes back to the first problem.

Now I know you'll say how these issues are being exaggerated, but I'm speaking from the perspective that has never played MTG or maybe never played a similar game before. For the purposes of infiltration, it's a LOT of effort for your average armchair rights activist.
