It would show very little good about the game (which is mostly dialogue and out-of-the-way easter eggs) while simultaneously spoiling a lot of shit. Not to mention UT is kind of a shit speedgame, judging by the fact that you'd just be running through corridors, skipping text, and sitting through enemy attacks.

Because it's by far the easiest of the 3D games to run. Oath and 6 both require constant streams of inputs, 7 and Celceta are just really long and on platforms people don't run on for the most part, 1 and 2 are optimized as fuck and people are afraid of running it at a high level, and the older patch for Origin with super jumping is too hard or completely unknown to mostly everyone else.

Just so you guys know, GDQ is now run by three people: Mike Uyama (who's still sick and refuses to contact the community directly), Cool Matty (who believes he's always right when he couldn't decide his way out of a paper bag), and Sumichu (former eSports person who handles the corporate stuff).
Multiple staff members, including Romscout, have already resigned from their positions. Former volunteers shit talk GDQ's incompetence.

AGDQ is paying out $167,000 in salaries, roughly $9,000 per staff member.

GDQ is a for-profit, for-charity marathon. That's the reason that game submissions are so terrible every time, it's those three people selecting games behind closed doors without even giving some video submissions views.
