Duck Hunt Duo is basically the same mix. Side B against roll spammers. I always throw the can when people are off stage to gimp them.

Old habits die incredibly hard, and I used to main Zelda in Project M so I just kept the trend going. My only legitimate complaint is the amount of end lag on Farore's Wind now, it's so slow to recover from it and isn't anywhere as close as effective as it should be.

Toon Link is just a backup and I rarely ever use anyone other than the two, but Mega Man is what I'll use if I'm just screwing around and having fun

Ok I'm shit at explaining my methods, but here I go.
Some basic damage wracking up, you can efficiently Dthrow into Fair, provided you're quick enough. Remember you've got full invincibility frames on your dash attack and your Bair. Fuck around with your wind boxes on your Fsmash and Dsmash. Honestly, avoid your counter unless you're 100% sure it'll hit. That shit's got a lot of lag to start up, moreso than any other counter for some reason. Usmash has longer range than you think. Recovering onto the stage with teleport works too

As someone who uses ~10 characters on a regular basis, its OK to not have a main. Just have some you like playing and are good with.
A lot of my wins against people in 1v1s come from me knowing which character to use against theirs and mixing things up.

hell to the yeah. never used him before until 4, he became my overall main on 3DS and WiiU. I use the choke MAYBE twice a battle to throw people off, and his kick only when they evade to much. EVERY single air attack he has is awesome, hes by far my most deadly character. 78% win on the wiiu with Ganon. though, i seem to get beat by lesser Ganon players who spam choke.... incredibly frustrating
