>ITT: games where you can customize the everloving shit out of stuff
The more freeform, the merrier
I don't see any freedom on this board.
i miss it. but PWE and Zombie Studios just don't care
nope. just no updates for more than a year now i think. and servers shit themselves more often than not
the hud is also customizable
> Melee weapons will add an entire new class of weapons to M.A.V., reflecting the humble beginnings of M.A.V. pilots as mining machine operators. This weapon class will include devastating close range weapons that are improvised from their normal mining operations. Weapons like Hydraulic Jack Hammers, pounding though buildings and other M.A.V.'s. Or maybe try the Massive Rock Saw, spinning up and ripping apart the weaker parts of your enemies. Try strapping a massive bulldozer blade to your M.A.V. and ramming your opponent, dealing collision damage and shoving them out of your way! This class of weapons and parts will let you get up close and personal, so you can see the fear before you silence your oppressors.
That sounds cool and all, but for me by far the greatest part of Chrome hounds was the mid to long range fights.
Honestly, just the memory of playing this game with a clan makes my dick seriously hard. This game alone made a 360 worth it for awhile for me.
Jagged Alliance 2 with 1.13 mod.
It tickles my /k/ autism just right
i forgot where the ini is located, but look somewhere in the folders, i think its UTEngine.ini or something similar, just use these settings. can even tweak those lower for maximum 1 pixel gfx i think
>playing Armored Core 1
>make heavy quadleg/hovertank mech, strap a fuckton of guns of it and the heaviest armor
>in game ranking systems says it's shit
>make balanced mech with good thrusters, beam rifle, medium armor
>same as above
>make light as fuck mech with powerful boosters, inverted legs, armed only with an handgun
>in game ranking systems says it's alright
I don't understand. The controls were also literally Hitler trying to play videogames.
MAN every fucking time people are PUSHING ME to post the dark souls ones
Too bad it's dead because it's a legitimately great game.
the shop had a rental thing going on before they removed it partially
>rent parts for 1 day and pay around 1 game's worth of credits
>if it's good buy it for x10 amount or use real cash
now they removed 1 day rentals but you can grind yourself to get all the receivers available.
Though I loved 4, 5 is fine, my biggest issue was how much flight got toned down but with the right booster and reverse joined legs you can get fucking high and stay up for a while. The wall kicking stuff also makes for some interesting fights if you git gud at it.
> robot arena 2
> no results
MOTHERFUCKING ROBOT ARENA 2.
You have to build custom robots from ground up. Oh, and it doesn't have simple keybindings - you have to wire individual buttons to various engines and servomotors. It's fucking glorious.
I ran a set with a single howitzer and a few snipers with limited ammo, heavy punch but not a lot of shots.
Made the fights intense as shit.
Also having the howitzer on one side made the hound wip to the side after a shot, got my dick so hard
MAV on the PC is a spiritual successor to chromehounds, and looks to improve the stuff that was broken in it and expand upon it.
It's in early access and 20 bucks though, haven't bought it myself because of that but from his updates and videos it looks really promising.
