This one. It did have is technical flaws and sometimes the gameplay was clunky, but deep down, i think the game is pretty good

Gives you a lot of choices
Armor and weapons customization
You can choose how to progress in the game
RPG-like skill system
The story was interesting
Some unique characters, including the protagonist
Some of the dialogue was very well written


I feel like if the game had been given more work and a bigger budget, it would have been a masterpiece.

Manhunt wasn't overrated. It was repetitive, had a screwed difficulty curve, and was full of escort missions. The only thing that moved units of the shelf was the controversy surrounding it. If no one had kicked up a fuss about it the game would have come and gone like a fart in a hurricane.

I agree that the story was nowhere near as good as the first one, but this had killer art direction and level design, and a great atmosphere. It even had a kind of quiet suburban melancholy in some places.

Something unique about the first title is the soundtrack. It has some cool dark background music that gets you inside the environment.

They are great, their quotes are also pretty fantastic. Making these different gangs added a lot to the game in my opinion. It was pretty much like the warriors, where you wanted waht the next gang's theme will be. even the soundtrack is similar

No, Alpha Protocol was a hot mess. Only a few of the sidekick paths were properly fleshed out. Stealth was broken (enemies gain telepathy the second the alarm goes off and knows where you are, this disappears the second it shuts off). Gun play was broken, assault rifle and pistols are the only decent classes (shotguns just wasted ammo), and most attachments are middling junk.
Then you get to the Brayko fight and the game throws away any credibility it had as a serious conspiracy thriller.
