Prelati used to indulge in luxury and pleasure, but ever since being granted a perfect body by Saint-Germain, she has quit being lazy and become an earnest researcher. YKA was pretty obvious that a kiss would happen, because it was even in the theme and it was being sold as a Yuri romance (also, it's Ikuhara, so most anime logic don't even apply). I have to say, I don't think the season was bad at all, but Hibiki's father plot was really shitty.
If they wanted to focus on the parents theme, they should work on Hibiki's relationship with her mother instead of a trash that no one cared about.

Also, couples that get together only for their childs' sake are usually unhappy, so I'm sad for Hibiki's mother.

Story
It's the middle of summer vacation, 2 weeks after the end of the Magical Girl Incident. A disturbance breaks out aboard the high class luxury ship, the Alexandria, as it is moored in Tokyo Bay. The word "sacrist" is picked up from eyewitness testimony and the situation is deemed paranormal in nature, thus an investigation request is made and S.O.N.G. dispatched.

The Symphogear Adaptors make their way to the scene only to come across some wriggling "ghostly" shadows the likes of which they've never seen before. The shadows converge into one another, forming a giant figure that suddenly assaults the Adaptors.
