It's been a bit since I played through it all, but I remember them being pretty well paced, if you have a normal tolerance for cliffhangers and dramatic tension. Except for a few times where I seem to remember being stuck with a particular narrative character for multiple scenes when diversifying was what I wanted, like sometimes with Yuna, but even that was understandable for the story purposes. The part at the end with all the extra scenes was like a great omake section of a manga.

Can anyone explain to me what it's oh so great about this visual novel? I'm not looking to stir up shit or anything, I'm just genuinely curious to hear some opinions on the matter.
Don't get me wrong, I'm aware it's not completely terrible and Yuna is a rather easy to like protagonist until towards the end, that is but I just don't see why this VN gets so much praise? To me none of the pairings seemed to have any chemistry and their relationships were rather bland. I could only bring myself to care about Yuna (Nena was cool too) and the ghosts but they didn't even get what I would call a "satisfying goodbye scene". I was expecting that to be a very emotional scene but when it happened, it just felt like it essentially lacked something. Well, the art is cute I guess, though the sex scenes look awkwardly drawn.

I thought I'd completed all the game (all the bears are red, all the cherries are viewed, and all the apples are viewed), but am I missing something. It still says "lets try a little harder" on the title screen.

I'm sure its already been speculated, but here is what I think could be the potential future of the all the characters: Sachi and Megumi return as angels and can freely travel anywhere. Youka tours the world preforming rock concerts with Aki (with Aki as part of a group or Aki as her manager - since she handles time well). They get extremely wealthy from Youka's music. Youka comes out to the media that her and Youka are dating and lovers, and they get a huge lesbian following. The two get married overseas, and come back and buy the school. Aki and Yuna run the school (maybe as Chairman and Principal or Principal and Vice Principal. Aki could also be head of security for the school if she desired. Yuna could double as the principal and the head chef of the school - kind of like a certain Precure school principlal). Kiki becomes the school nurse and takes care of Sonsou-sensi and all the cute school girls. Sonsou-sensei becomes the head of the teachers. The three from the broadcast club become big in media (maybe the whose-who of relationship, love, and sex advise). Ano becomes a councilor at the school reassuring girls their girl+girl love is wonderful. Miyu becomes athletic director for the school (in charge of all the couches), and Matsuri becomes the reknowned (for tons of track wins) track and field coach. Hina coaches as well. Miki and Maki oversee the upkeep, repair, expansion, and when needed remodeling of the school. The school becomes a true Yuritopia. If things were expanded beyond the school Yuna could be the Mayor, Governor, or a member of the Senate and make the town or larger area a bigger Yuritopia along with Sachi and Megumi who as angels could travel and interact on a larger scale. What do /u/ think about that?

I finally played this and I was so swept away with everything. A few scenes in particular - sparkling sunshine confession, Tsukuyo and Kiri's first time, Megumi and Sachi's first time - had my heart pounding out of my chest! There was probably steam coming from my head when Tsukuyo-chan said yes... (though I'm a lesbian teacher in Japan so, ahem)

Saying goodbye to the Kindred Spirits had me absolutely devastated. I was a sobbing mess that could barely click my mouse button.

I still have some extra scenes to go through and whatever supplemental materials have released other than the game, but I can definitely say I'm a big fan. Now to find myself a wife like Yuna, tbqh

anon-sensei here, sorry to blog in this thread but I wanted to give closure. Today was Valentine's day and I received giri choco from staff members but then I had a few special encounters.

Yuka-chan gave me the one on the right. It says ほんの気持ち (hon'no kimochi) "a little feeling." She said itsumo arigatou. Later after school I saw her running at practice and ran with her for awhile. It was nice.

The surprise twist was 3rd year Moe-chan. She gave me the homemade brownie and muffin on the left, and said (In English) "Will you be m-my... v... va..." and then she turned away and said "Mou~" and ran off. Her friend Mitsuki apologized for her and ran off to find her.

Thus concludes my adventures in Yuritopia Okinawa. (On topic real quick: I'm listening to all the drama CDs soon and I'm excited to actually remember Umi and Sasa since they drop off the face of the game halfway through)

What a disappointment. I remember thinking that cute moments for Umi/Sasa were going to abound as a safe mainstay of positive feelings to help the reader get through whatever drama might lie ahead, but nope. Nothing.

Homemade chocolates are easy to make. All you need are chocolate wafers (or chips) and a method to melt them (stove or microwave will do). Just keep mixing while it melts, then pour into a mold. See if there are any crafts stores around. I know here you can buy icing in a tiny tube ready for writing. Otherwise, put some icing in the bottom corner of a plastic sandwich bag, squeeze the icing into the corner, and cut a tiny hole for you to squeeze the icing out of to write letters. There are guides for all of this online I'm sure if you wanted to go that route.
