Just finished a thing I've been working on for a couple weeks now, a Human!AU of Malachite/Melanie, Sardonyx/Sarah, and Opal/Ortensia playing Dick Lips. Even got Mel and Sarah with a Fender Stratocaster and a Fender Precision Bass (Lefty, in this case), and Ortensia's drumset is based off of what Travis Barker usually uses.

I plan on continuing it with Ortensia and Melanie as girlfriends; as much as I like Opal/Sardonyx, in this setting they're half-sisters, and only a few examples of siscon ring with me.

Ok I'm gonna be honest. I don't think this relationship between Pearl and Mystery Girl will work out. First and foremost,in Pearl's own words, she's a new gem who is starting to let go of the past, she's looking into the future, a future where the memory of Rose is nothing but a pleasant memory without all the heartbreak involved.

Mystery girl coming into her life, and especially if she becomes Pearl's lover, would be a constant reminder of Rose and the love she had for Rose for thousands of years. That would neither be healthy for Pearl nor for the Mystery Girl.

So as much as this will disappoint a huge chunk of the fanbase, I think Mystery Girl will never make an appearance again, or her relaitonship with Pearl will quickly fall apart.
