Consider this: Amelie would be actually the most gentle and caring mom and would be totally overprotective of their kids and would sing them songs in French and carry them around and spoil them with the most serene expression on her face.

You can take literally any character and when you look into their backstory there will be something tragic about it.
The game itself might look vibrant and positive, but really someone drawing angsty shit isn't weird at all since angsty shit already happened in the backstory we know many times.

I really like the first chapter.

The process was fine and all, but, I think for this specific thing to work Widow shouldn't have contacted Talon and instead kidnapped her herself and done the procedure without the knowledge of anyone. Sure you explained it away as her learning to do it herself, but some things can't really be done by one's self.

It would've made more sense for Talon not to be involved, for instance, how you started the first chapter with Tracer not really giving it her all Widowmaker getting infuriated and because Tracer wasn't 100% fighting her, she would 'teach her a lesson' then have a few 'sessions' enough so that she's a little addicted and let her go, and then wait for Tracer to go looking for her on her own and then complete it.

In the second chapter though, she gave up too quickly, at the very least a few weeks should've passed. But we'll see what you have in store for the next chapters.
