Not the person who posted the previous question, but I don't give a crap what the original work was. If the anime that I'm interested in doesn't have het, but the original has it we can just avoid the original source. Koihime Muso anime was based off a het game, but the anime was all yuri and didn't have the crap het. If I'd avoided the anime because I knew the game had het (I didn't learn that until after I'd seen all the anime) then I would have missed out on one of the best yuri anime series I've seen.

This being an anime I haven't previously heard about, the previous image of them kissing not having a clear name (only numbers) would anyone be so kind as to share the name of the anime. Sure I (and others interested) could try a reverse image search, and a google search for the names Ao and Kana, but that doesn't mean we'll find the right show...

That image is a fanart. It isn't really yuri, but subtext. Sure, one girl is in love with other, there are two other pretty gay pairings, and it's mostly about girls interacting, but nothing overly gay. Actually, even the game doesn't focus on romance according with some review I read. They just shoehorned some random kisses.
The name is Ao no Kanata. It's mostly a sport anime about a game they play flying (it's actually pretty similar to that game Harry Potter's universe has). I don't recommend for yuri, but it works fine if you just want shipping. I would reccomend it if you like animes about girls being cool without needing to have sex with male mc for that, though.

The mc in the anime is actually the pink haired girl.

It had to do with like two princesses, or a princess and her knight that were engaged or something, married and I even think they had a kid together? Anyway the main girl loves the other girl but is afraid the other girl doesn't love her back because it was an arranged marriage. Then the MC tries to commit suicide, and it looks like it's going to be a bad end but a letter from the other girl saves her.

Well, I don't know what is fun for you. A lot of people here hate subtext or ship-bait, for example. I found the show pretty fun. It's rare to find sport animes focused on girls, and their interaction were fine. If you watch it, ignore the two scenes with the guy seeing one of the girls naked accidently twice in the first two episode. That will be the closest he'll get to have any sexual involviment with them. The scene us just stupid and random.

Abou MahoPri..well, I think you know what to expect in the yuri side of it. It's pretty fun, thought. It's less action focused than gopri, though. But the interaction between the two main is nice. It helps that they're the only protagonists.

They're even raising a baby fairy together.

It's hard to compare things on different genres, but...in fun factor, I think they're close enough. Both have fun action and fun characters and badass girls. AoKana has a little more drama, though (sport related).
AoKana was a surprise to me. I saw someone talking good things about it (not mugino) and thought about giving it a try. I was sure I would end up dropping it, but it was one of the titles I liked the most in the season, together with Koukaku no Pandora. For reference, I actually started the KyoAni anime. And although it was kinda fun, the way they kept forcing the guy to have more spotlight, even though he was the worst character, annoyed me and I ended up dropping it.
The guy in AoKana, although more experient than the girls (he's retired, though, and he's just their coach) even has a older female as his inspiration, and she's more skilled than him.

I just "marathoned" Mahou Shoujo Nante Mou Ii Desukara and thought it was a cute little fluffy series. Didn't see it much discussed here, even though it has a bit of subtext between the main character and her friend. The familiar's antics do get a bit annoying though, but if you can look past that I recommend giving it a watch.

Pan De Piece is pretty gay so far, but also only 3 minutes long with a 30 second opening.

Kuma Miko is not /u/ related at all but is very cute.

I have not finished downloading Bakuon yet but it seems like it has /u/ potential.

Anne Happy and Haifuri have not aired yet but seem to be mostly female casts and cute, so more possible /u/.

Seeing Macross Delta has made me want to watch it and the seasons before it since it reminds me of symphogear (hoping it is better written) but I know nothing about it or how /u/ it is or is not.

The few other things I am going to check out are more action oriented and seem both shitty and not /u/ at all. Probably drop most of them early on.

So if you want something refreshing you probably won't get it this season unfortunately.

Idol culture is an element yes, but there are three things that make up Macross: Music, dogfights with planes, and the love triangle. So, unless it's centered around Hayato and Mirage falling in love with Freyja, the chances of any kind of yuri in any form are zero.

Perhaps if you use industrial grade googles you could get something out the girls interactions with each other, but I wouldn't bet on it.
