So I had this idea in my head for a few days no and was just toying with it and some ideas I was given in the old Teen Titans thread.

Anyway the idea is what if cartoon! Terra ended up in the universe that Starfire's ongoing takes place in and Atlee and Starfire help Terra come to terms with her crush on either Starfire or Raven from her universe and in the process discover that Terra's powers are some what emotion based. And in a rather amusing scene find out when Terra gets hot and bothered she can turn rock into lava through friction or something.

Ironically for me, it's because of Phyla and Moondragon's new characterizations (starting in Annihilation) that I like them.

Moondragon's past characterization mainly portrayed her as cold, distant, arrogant, and unpleasant. While also at times her personality ranged from being a crazy stalker (trying to force guy Quasar to be her lover while mind controlling another person to be her wingman and trapping and beating the crap out of a girl that was also interested in Quasar) to a insane arrogant egomaniac (believing she was destined to be the Celestial Madonna, enslaving an entire planet and making them worship her as a goddess, & murdering her father).

Phyla's character was also initially arrogant (but not to Moodragon's extremes), very brash, and indelicately blunt.

By the time they showed up again in Annihilation and had been together for a while, they were much better characters. Moondragon mellowed out a lot and Phyla actually developed a sense of self-awareness. I also like Phyla's continued character development in Guardians where she was quietly in mourning over Moondragon while try to be a dependable teammate and subtly bonding with Moondragon's dad (too bad DnA completely shitcanned all her character development since Annihilation and made Phyla a complete fuck up by the end of the series).

Remember the shitstorm around Avengers Arena and the equally ridiculous and nonsensical writing which had long-lasting in-universe repercussions? How about X-23's writers repeatedly rehashing the "I'm a weapon-I'm more than a weapon-My life sucks and I have no worth except as a weapon-blah blah blah" cycle with the occasional dash of daddy issues and difficulty keeping friends? Or, since we're on the topic of cosmic Marvel, Kitty Pryde and Star-Lord???

As much as I'm rooting for Moondragon and Phyla to make a reappearance eventually, it's concerning to think about the sort of hands that might helm their storylines.
