Imagine being billed as THE guy in the first run of the show only to have this shoe-in green ranger show up. He's the bad guy but the fans love him so much that he becomes anti-hero filler for the rest of season 1. Then the worst happens, but it's inevitable and you always knew since the first episode of Green With Evil, that this guy would replace you. Fans still love Tommy going into season 2 and it's time for the producers to make some changes to keep interest and make new toys. So some guy says "we're going to make Tommy the leader..."

Twenty years go by and no one remembers Jason Lee Scott for the bad ass that he was. When people think of the man who brought tough guy attitude and leadership to Power Rangers they see the Green Ranger. Jason Lee Scott is stuck in the shadow of Jason David Frank.
