Not to insinuate that the JP T. rex looks like anything but a movie monster, but the evidence that we have DO point pretty strongly towards big tyrannosaurids being mostly, if not entirely, covered in (very small) scales. Only closet furfags still deny this.
>>
>all dinosaurs either had feathers or didn't have feathers
why is this thread even on /tv/
>>
>>87781505
The thing with Tyrannosaurus rex is that we have found adult tyrannosaurids with feathers. Yutyrannus was a largeish tyrannosaurid that was clearly covered in feathers. It was from a cold region so that makes sense for why it has feathers and T. rex odes not.

The complication goes in with the fact that once something as complicated feathers evolves, it often sticks around. Even elephants and whales have hair, despite not needing any.
So the T. rex was likely as feather free as an elephant is hairless.
Which is feathery as a youngster when they needed more warmth and only feathered sparsely if at all as an adult

How can fossils be getting more and more real over time, if they always existed?skin, eggs, feathers, why didn't they find that early if it was always in the ground? They will be finding whole dinos, then alive dinos in the ground. Smh. Architects the worst.
>>

Scales are on the evolution of feathers. Crocs are supposedly surviving dinos, I'm guessing because of their semi aquatic adaptations. They haven't had to change, basically a mouth with teeth and baby legs, the ultimate killing machine. But actually I'm wrong, dinos were demons nuked by angels.

First off. Archeology is the study of ancient humans dumbfuck. If you're going to critique a scientific discipline, at least make sure you got it right.
The thing with large bones is that you typically have to go looking for them in specific locations order to find them. That being said, there are still several primary sourcs from ancient china and one from Greece describing large bones.
