Enjoy water damage
>>87596186
i was never afraid of monsters hiding under my bed. for me it was having a chunk of the ceiling fall and snap my leg in half
I've always been more scared of a bear crashing through my window even though I'm upstairs.

That's oddly specific
>>87596186
>watching scary movie
>have finger on the pause button the whole time
>scary movie about to finish
>looks like the evil guy has been defeated
>suddenly evil guy pops up on the screen and yells/screams at you and music goes loud and scary

>he doesn't use https://wheresthejump.com/
>>87596186
>not welcoming the demons
1) It would confirm supernatural shit which would be incredible
2) It would give me an opportunity to battle these fuckers. I wouldn't mind either cuz my life and future are pure putrid trash.

I have that mindset until I'm actually in the moment then I'm scared shitless :3
>camera pans slowly around dark room
>close my eyes and wait for the jumpscare
>read something spooky
>go to sleep
>get sleep paralysis
>it's related to the spooky thing you read

What movies have done that to you? It used to happen to me when I was younger but not anymore. I need a movie to scare me shitless.

Did you play Condemned 2?
>>87598655
Same. Being that affected by movies anymore is very few and far between. The last movie that really gave me that feeling was the original Dark Water (2002). It's a Japanese horror movie that was slow going but at a certain point I was really spooked. But with movies that actually scare you like that I find that the scary factor varies a lot between people so you may not be scared at all. I also find that mood and setting matters a lot. Home alone with all the lights out being preferable of course.

>home alone
>night
>lights off
>watching scary movie
I can see that scenario making the hair stand on my neck, even for a mediocre film. I'll give it a shot when I get the chance.
