That was hands down the best Rick and Morty episode I have ever seen. It gave viewers of this show exactly what we like --- violence, dark humor, and absurdity. All the same, the show successfully picked up a few storylines, advanced them in a way that was not slow but not too fast either, and resolved them each individually with a different lesson on society whether it be about the state of our politics and how to control it, class tension in society, racial tension in society, etc. They provide all the fantastic elements of the show, provide a twist, provide multiple philosophical lines and or monologues that make you think, and squeeze all that action and philosophy into 20-30 minutes.

In my opinion, it was a very well done episode. It was something a lot of people had been waiting to see (the return of Evil Morty) and they pulled it off perfectly.
That being said, there are tons of other episodes I enjoy more. My favorite will still be the one with the aliens that insert into flashbacks. There are tons that are extremely rewatchable and always funny. While this may not be the best in that sense, I think it is one of the best in terms of story satisfaction and how well the episode was actually done. That's not what the series is usually judge on, but it is the best in some regards I would say.

I'm saying that the general concept is a political one. It doesn't really help science. It promotes groupthink and bias.

It helps politics and society in some way, as it gives guidance on things like making sure that people know how likely it is that human assisted climate change and evolution are true. As I said, it's a political concept. But it makes it harder to revise as well, due to political blowback if new data/studies contradict the last scientific consensus.

As such it is anti-scientific, it makes science less efficient in the interest of helping science serve politics better.
