If there is one second of seriousness in this show it will be shit. It better be like Naked Gun kind of humour or it's shit.
>>87578189
It's a Seth MacFarlane show. It's going to have bullshit sitcom drama moments because he's kind of a hack writer like that.
>>87578189
It's was made by Seth McFarlane ergo it's already shit
>>87578189
>brian griffin in space
Yeah, there totally won't be sjw shit pouring out of this pile
>>87578189
If this flops Seth will commit suicide.
>>87578189
Fox pushed the whole "family guy in space" . He wanted to make something true the Star Tack . As I know STD well be black gay women hero vs (trump supporters - writer words) klingons SJW mess, I have hopes for this show

>>87578189
Is this the live thread for the show?
>>87580858
It premieres tonight? Is it even worth recording? The reviews have been absolute shit.
>>87580912
>Is it even worth recording?
It's Seth McFarland, anon. What do you think?
>>87580912
It'll be worth to watch it while mocking it with the rest of /tv/
Well, he's pissed about Fox pushing it as a comedy, so...
>>87580965
I gotta watch 90 Day Fiance, but I guess I'll give it a chance later.
>>87581026
You "gotta"?
EVERYONE GET IN HERE
JUST
U

T
>>87581165
strim?
>>87581007
I know he wanted to actually do a Star Trek show but he's know as a comedy guy so idk what he was expecting.
this is awful desu
Feels like a good time to abandon ship.
>>87578189
Fucking Care Bears did a Star Trek parody 30 years ago.
Wait is it a comedy or not?
It has some subtle humor (and by subtle I mean Seth's slightly racist shit).
23 year old chief of security.... affirmative action labor union appointment
Black helmsman... want's to drink soda while working.
>>87581585
Serious but with comedic overtones.
One of the showrunners helped make TNG.
>>87581159
yeah, my family watches it too.
So, he's Captain Cuck
Dropped.
Naturally he's the victim.
Welp, I guess I'll watch Dallas get the shit kicked out of them.
>>87578189
will the comedy happen soon?
Is this on Fox?
The last hour has been nothing but Hurricane Irma news.
>>87582818
Trading one flop for another.
>>87578189
>If there is one second of seriousness in this show it will be shit. It better be like Naked Gun kind of humour or it's shit.
Actually the opposite turned out to be true
>>87582898
Found out its because of the local football game fucking up the entire lineup.
>tfw no cable
>>87583013
So, you still have a chance to hate watch The Orville.
Probably not going to watch after this. Eh.
>>87578189
prepare to be disappointed OP
actually it looks like its going to be a serious scifi show + constant quips
>>87581983
>Naturally he's the victim.
In probably over 90% of cases, yeah. "He" is. But especially in this case. And "she" knows it. The only unbelievable thing here is that she appears to be sorry.
>>87581199
holy shit. RT scores for TV series are inflated to high hell. more than half of them are in the 90-100% range. getting a score this low is impressive
>>87581983
>>87583888
I dunno, he started out the victim but started being the asshole towards the end. I think they were trying to make it a mutually dysfunctional relationship, but since we got his side first it seemed to fishtail between "what a bitch" and "dude don't ignore your wife."
>>87584142
It was most certainly not the second coming, but yeah, what the fuck. This must be triggering people hard somehow.
>>87584312
>"dude don't ignore your wife."
Reverse the gender roles and let's hear how that excuse plays out. Don't make me laugh.
>>87584771
About as well? Or is this some kind of sexism thing about society in general?
>>87585038
>About as well?
I said... Don't make me laugh. Now ake your "sexism" shit and shove it.
>>87578189
Could have been better straight serious.
It's like a cheap star trek fan-production for cucks.
"If your wife cheats on you it's your fault and you have to forgive her" is a bit of an odd theme for a science fiction show
>>87578189
The serious part of it were literally the best.
The comedy and comedy-drama shit were so terrible. But the serious parts were really good.
Fuck all haters i enjoyed the fuck out of it. This is litterally Star Trek. Yes most f the jokes were unnecessary, but at least they did not made me wish harm on their writers. And i did smiled from that dog in the background.
Oh boo hoo, go watch The Expanse and feel brood while watching it.
