Brett Gelman, a former writer at Adult Swim, left the company and made a fuss about the lack of diversity and also criticised Adult Swim for broadcasting World Peace. Then, after the election, people assumed that because Sam Hyde was "alt-right", then his show must be as well. It started with a shitty Buzzfeed article called "the alt-right has its own tv show" and then it escalated into a few more articles. This all mounted onto Adult Swim and they were pressured into cancelling the show. It's a huge shame because it was fucking fantastic. Maybe once politics have cooled down, another network might decide to pick it up.
