I love Boogie Nights, but 8/10 is about right. I was honestly tempted to give Punch-Drunk Love a 10/10. It's a great movie, and the most re-watchable of all his films

David Fincher, the only real knock against him is that he doesn't write his own movies and thus is sometime stuck with the source material he is given. However he usually finds a way to elevate the material and makes them much better than they have any right to be
