I never understood why Homer used a pornography store as an alibi for his drunken misdeeds, like, why didn't he say "I was at a hotel" or "I was at a 24hr Krusty Burger". Not to mention that he was so proud of his excuse and he genuinely thought it was good, I mean come on, we didn't even get to see how they reacted to his excuse and if it actually worked or not, although he does keep the Mr Plow truck for the rest of the episode, we never see it again for the rest of the entire show. So what if that quip worked for the time being but they got the gist eventually and took away his Mr Plow truck? I never understood this joke for this very reason, it's like "yeah man, I was in a porn store and I just managed to crash my truck even though there is hardly any traffic at night", this joke was so poorly done I couldn't help but scowl at the rest of the episode.
