At that point in the movie I was so sick and tired of these annoying side characters. I was hoping that now we were into the third act and shit was getting serious that they would cut it with the jokes, but I forgot that I was watching a Marvel film.
Worst joke of the movie, worst moment of the movie, it kind of ruined the rest of the film because now that they showed that they were willing to fuck up a tense scene with stupid teenage jokes, I couldn't enjoy the rest of the movie as I didn't want to get attached to what was going on in case they dropped another shitty toilet joke or something in the middle of the fight.

Also ned would have been the worst character in this film, if it wasn't for that literally pointless MJ negress

I actually didn't mind Liz and Ned, but there was so much dumb shit in that movie like what OP said.
I'm okay with diversity, but forcing what is clearly a sociopolitical agenda into the film really didn't do the film any favours. I also didn't like the fact that there was an entire dedicated to doing nothing but spewing this bullshit.
