Looking at IMDB TV shows, few of the top rated have moral protagonists. GoT, Breaking Bad, The Wire, The Sopranos are all in the top 20 (most of the others are documentaries or cartoons). Plus consider House of Cards or other popular television. There are shows with "good guy" protags but most of the critically acclaimed stuff focuses on repugnant characters.
