Knowing how a story ends doesn't necessarily ruin the viewing experience anon. Normally your brain would be focused on trying to figure out WHAT is about to happen next, but when you already know and aren't being kept guessing, your brain is free to focus on HOW the story takes shape and start to notice the more subtle details.
