Why the fuck does every movie have the same hugely popular actors nowadays? Movies from the 70s-80s certainly had big stars but it's not like every role in the film had an A-list actor. Fucking tired of seeing Jared Leto everywhere btw.

Big blockbuster from the past totally didn't do this.
HINT: They did. You're just processing things in your mind selectively and also thinking the movie that is considered big today, like Blade Runner because of decades of cult classic fame was a big hyped movie of its day like its sequel/reboot.
