I found it hilarious all the time. It got cancelled for the same reason most shows get canned: low ratings. And the reason for low ratings is that the type of humor appeals more to men than women (appeals more meaning some women might like it but more men than women do). Most men (and some women) generally prefer sitcoms while most women (and gays) prefer Desperate Housewives or Gillmore Girls type of humor like Friends from College.
