What if GOT is a cyclical universe? The map of the intro is placed inside of a Dyson sphere that is fueled by a sun surrounded by tapestries, that shows you the previous destinies of the big houses. During the series, the last tapestry is being written. Imagine that during "the Winter", the dead ones destroy every single civilisation and return to the north. The survivors will be the new "first men", and they will rebuild the Wall. All this, over and over again.

OP here. Analyse the main song. It is all about failing and rebuilding everything again. The cello (0:09) tries to attract all the attention for a brief moment, trying to write its own story, but the riff of decadence + rebuilding (0:13) is faster.
Both cello and main riff play the same song, but at different rythms.

The tapestries that surround the sun/core are moving, of course.
