Terminator 2 is almost a perfect movie. You can't say the same about Terminator. Obviously it was more innovative and groundbreaking and all that shit, but the final 15 minutes or whatever are just awful. The stop motion Terminator looked fucking terrible even for the time, and the model they used for the closeups just isn't scary in the least bit. The whole movie up until is thrilling and you're legitimately afraid of this unstoppable killing machine, and then he turns into some weird skeleton from Jason and the Argonauts.

I see the flaws in T2. It's cheesy at times and Eddie Furlong is understandably annoying. But it's still a better movie.
