I'm doing a History Course on the History of Terrorism, and I decided to come out with a list of movies that explore those topics. I can't come up with anything for a few of them so any recommendations to be nice. I don't care about the movies' ideologies or beliefs. I just want some good movies to watch.
>Terrorism in general
Munich
>French Revolution
Danton
>Late 19th Century and pre WW2 Anarchism in Western Europe & USA
Can't come up with anything
>Russian anarchism before Russian Revolution
I can only find the ones that cover the Russian Revolution
>WW@ Bombings (Specifically Blitzkrieg, Dresden, Hiroshima & Nagasaki)
Grave of the Fireflies, Hiroshima Mon Amour, Black Rain
>Algerian War
The Battle of Algiers
>Racial Violence in 20th Century USA
Malcolm X, Birth of a Nation, Mississippi Burning
>Latin American violence
State of Siege, Missing
>Left Wing Terrorism in 1960s & 1970s
The Baader Meinhoff Complex, Network? (There is a part in Network where they interview left-wing terrorists but I don't think that counts)
>Irish Republican Army
Hunger, The Wind that Shakes the Barley, The Crying Game, In the Name of the Father
>Israel & Palestine
5 Broken Cameras
>21st Century Middle East
Syriana, Zero Dark Thirty
I took a class like this two and wrote a little paper on In the Name of the Father.
Delta Force with Chuck Norris is actually good.
