That's no wonder at all since the Chinese would never be able to like a movie that isn't blatant action. I've lived in China for half a year and I've seen the shit they put in their theaters. Literally only Chinese fantasy movies, some U.S. fantasy and action movies, and Anime movies

Wouldn't call it a mere "solo debut" movie since Iron Man is in it. Hate that they feel like they need to force him everywhere with his smug style. Wish they had went with Captain America instead, would have been a far better mentor.

It's almost like audiences were burnt on Spider-man the past 10 years and were willing to wait on Homecoming coming to DVD. Wonder Woman succeeded because it was her first major public appearance since Linda Carter and every other movie completely bombed, so her decent movie was the only thing worthy to watch.
