This new Pennywise has to be the scariest movie monster we've seen in years. Literally years. There's two scenes in this movie that absolutely sent shivers down my spine. First when Pennywise possesses the slideshow and we finally get to see his very creepy and mental face in the final scene. What a build-up! I nearly pissed myself.

The other one is in the basement, first we see the excellent performance by Georgie's actor. You'll float too never has sounded more epically scary. And then Pennywise rises from the waters. I jumped in my chair and still do when watching this. I can tell I will be on the edge of my seat in theatres this september.

The movie itself seems to capture that 80s feeling we've seen in Stranger Things and other important work. Do your part and see it in theaters. Be a part of history.

Honestly I wasn't expecting IT to be that scary. It's one of my favorite books, and the source material isn't that frightening. I like the concepts. A monster that feeds on children's fears, a town that's either under its sway or just a reflection on dying America, all the fucked up shit that kids go through in places like Derry, like child abuse or bullying.

A lot of people keep hyping it up like "OOOH IT'S GONNA BE SCARY LOOK AT THE CLOWN LIKE & SUBSCRIBE LOL", but it's more than that. If you wanna be scared, go be 14 and play Amnesia. I always thought IT was more about examining the toxic cultures proliferating in American small towns, and what it's like to be a scared kid, rather than being a big ooga-booga-lookit-tha-scary-monstah type situation.

That said, I'm still pretty stoked by the clip. Pennywise is at least gonna be interesting to watch, even if you don't find him scary.

Apparently the movie is essentially "Stand By Me" but horror. Everything I have read has said it is a coming of age story rooted in a horror movie (Much like the books)

SO far everything I have seen/heard about this movie is getting me excited. All the early reviews seem to be overwhelmingly positive.

The funny thing is even if it sucks its going to make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ this weekend as LITERALLY NOTHING has come out for two weeks now, and IT is the only notable movie in the next two weeks
