Walmart paid more than minimum wage in my state $11/hr, if I wasn't part time I would have had healthcare, they matched stock if I bought any, 15min paid breaks, hour lunch, and my managers were generally not shit.


A lot better than every other job I had before Walmart. People rag on walmart for being bad, but the little local companies treat their employees far worse.

Don't know what benefits I get as I don't opt for them but they became available to me after a year. I've been here about a year and a half. Management is good for the most part. Our on shit upper management guy was relocated to a different store after bumping heads with the Store manager too many times. They let us stay an extra hour or come in early on two truck days whenever we want so long as we don't go over 40 hours. Overall fairly relaxed environment.

In fact this is currently happening because of rising Chinese wages, factories are already moving to Vietnam and India. Also Trump himself has investments in China, so why would he fuck himself over?
