This arc was boring and stupid as fuck tbqh. Literally fill tier besides Cersei getting to the throne. Is this shit on the books too? Or is just fanfic? Because it was boring, forced and non-sense at all.

It's in the books but hasn't run its full course yet.
Cersei has just completed her walk of shame.

I always figured the sparrow would win when reading the books.
I thought this was supposed to be cercei's big downfall, where her shitty attitude makes her overlook something important that gets her killed.
in the books he might make Cleganebowl happen, but we don't know yet because that fact fuck is prioritizing and encyclopedia and a new Syfy show

Yeah, in the books it seems as if Cersei is completely incompetent despite thinking herself heir to her father's legacy. Every political play she congratulates herself on making only damns her further while you wait for the sword to fall. I'm not sure if the show is simply delaying that inevitability or omitting it since she's a 'strong' female character.

He was actually a good character and one of the only interesting things happening in that season. Probably would've dropped it earlier without him in it. A radical character that was against the very establishment itself rather than any particular claimant was unique. It was ultimately pointless though when he and his entire faction and follows got wiped out in one explosion.
