I stopped dating around 23 and started focusing on my career and becoming successful in life. I struggled for years on my own but eventually made it and now live as a very wealthy man. People below me on the corporate ladder at work have families, some have kids, and some have been through divorces. Something I take from all of this is having a family can be a good thing but it doesn't mean you should feel like shit or feel you are any less than anyone else. The thing about life is it is a continous cycle, who you are doesn't really matter. I haven't had a successful relationship in a long time, and I am almost 29 now and turning 30 next year. The thing about me is I might be single, however, I enjoy life and have plans for myself. I am still climbing the ladder and still have something in life that others can not achieve because they have families and other constraints on their life. One of the things about life is it is your life to live and nobody else will get to live that life. I have traveled and I have seen things other people wouldn't understand I have learned things about life that others just wont understand.

The interesting thing is you truly decide your own happiness and shouldn't believe too much in social stigma or social issues, the truth is if people see you are being a pathetic person for being single past 30 the issue is really with that person. Society doesn't actually matter and the only negative shit I have been told to my face is I am very selfish for living for pleasure and happiness rather than fathering children and having a family of my own.

In the end, the only thing that matters is how you lived your life and how you enjoyed your years on this planet. You can't change the past, but you can still find some happiness in whatever you chose to do.

i don't know. i quit a corporate job very soon into my career. it was killing me. i just fear that for some people they will only see the fact they chose there career over relationships and love too late.
