Mike Matei falls in love with Inspector Gadget.

Unable to confess, Mike is gifted by a deus ex machina with Gadget's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls him, and is overjoyed to find out that he has a crush on him as well, making his ten-inch cock twitch in his pants.

I say this as someone who knows him and his wife (I'm related on his wife's side).
BUT some things to know:
He did NOT spend all the money he earned from his movie actually on the movie. In fact in April of last year he bought a half million dollar house (exactly 500,000) STRAIGHT OUT with cash. I remember April bragging about it at the last reunion saying some (not all) of it came from the kickstarter money.
Their daughter is not autistic, retarded OR half-black. She did have some issues though, but when I saw her she seemed fine.
James is a TOTAL pussy. For example ever since I've known him (going on a decade now) not ONCE has April let him spend holidays with his family. They always spend it with ours.
James almost never talks when he is with us. A few times we visited them in their old house and even then he was just... spergy. Like every time he acts like a literal autist.

For example during Thanksgiving my brother was there and he and I were talking about politics (James supported Hillary by the way). So we got to the topic of Mexicans and I called them 'beaners' (my brother, father and I are all republicans). So James goes (and this is no lie):
"Beaners. Hehehe. Beans. Beans make you fart." Then he made a fart noise with his mouth.
It was the most uncomfortable situation I've ever been in.
He is in his mid 30s... making fart noises.
It was really weird because during dinner the rest of the adults ate in the living room and talked and James went to a different room and ate by himself. Freaking weird, man.

He was never meant to be a Hollywood director.

He will always be B-movie tier and I love him for that. I think he knows his place as well.

But as far as it just being him acting uncomfortable, nah. Ironically enough it is MY JOB to diagnose kids with mental disabilities. And he DEFINITELY shows all the classic signs of autism. It looks like it was never caught though.

And as far as movies go, one example of his autism was when I was made a comment on his godzilla episodes and how I enjoyed them (this was years back). He started talking for LITERALLY like 2 hours about Godzilla. Talking about the actors in the suits, the sound effects, the miniatures, how they got shots. Mimicking Godzillas roar for me. I mean there are just a ton of little things like that.

It was last 4th.
The kids were lighting off fireworks and the rest of us were sitting under the car port (including James). So a loud one went off nearby and my Uncle said something like, "Damn, that scared the shit outta me."
So then James said something to the effect of, "You pooped?"
And we were like, "No it's an expression."
James: "Maybe you need a diaper. We have some spare diapers. Hur hur. Let me get a diaper for you."
Then he actually went and GOT ONE and brought it back.
Then for the rest of the night he kept making 'poop your pants' jokes.
It was like he didn't realize the joke wasn't landing and he just kept going.
