There are certain prophecies in the book that did not make it to the show ... for example:
1- the visions that dany saw in the house of the undying regarding her future and past, the stuff about three fires, three mounts and three treasons.
2- the prophecy of Azor Ahai which was mentioned in the show but not in detail.
3- Also the thing about the valonqar that Maggie the witch mentioned.
Will D&D write the next season depending on those prophecies even though they did not include any in the show?
I am saying this because I've been seeing people predicting events in S8 depending on those things. (it's fun though)
