The movie in general is just really self indulgent.

Also holy fuck Carol Kane gives legit one of the most obnoxious, GO AWAY, change the fucking channel, fuck off forever, fuck this movie, kill me please, performances in the history of film.

I remember watching this awhile back and thinking something kind of similar
it's not particularly goofy, emotional, or quirky enough as it seems. everything is kind of flat

yeah i got up and walked out of the theater at this point. The movie has a lot of cool stuff in it but it doesnt work at all. Was it all improv?? it didn't seem to have a script at all.
