The acting I thought was subpar. Elba starred as elba. Mcconaughey was lacking something and he was the best actor there. Taylor I don't think portrayed jake properly, he seemed more childish and whiney here instead of more adultlike I'm the books.

The movie pacing sucked, the final fight was lackluster, sets were boring, and music was blah.

I almost hope they make another movie just to redeem themselves on the unpolished crap they gave us.
