jacksons one was close original black&white remake, just with modern effects - sooner or later someone gonna do same thing. havent seen other one, but if it is anything new than just one-to-one remake, it should be saved

king kong 2006 was pure kino. kong skull island was great but wasn't really memorable, just a solid action/monster movie

peter jackson one was hit and miss but overall i would say it was still good, the other one was just comically fucking awful. felt like a bollywood movie desu. even as just a straight dumb action movie, the action was pretty tame and boring.

Skull Island, as part of a film series I'm hoping for better kong movies. As much as I like it, PJ's Kong is just another remake. I want Kong to have more movies and become a true franchise.

Only one has my waifu. Even though Jackson's is needlessly long it's an overall better movie. Skull island was fun but I don't think I'll ever watch it again unless I catch it on TV or something

As much as I liked Skull Island (because I am a sucker for Kaiju fights), it´s human characters really hold it down.

Peter Jackson´s is a better movie all things considered.
