Can someone please tell me if It will change into all his forms that he does in the book (A Mummy, Vampire, Werewolf, Giant Cockroach type of thing etc)?
From what I've seen, we just see Pennywise the clown but I hope it does the book justice with all these morphs.
Also it saddens me as someone who read the book to see the trailers of this movie to have the simple jumpscare horror techniques when the book is far more terrifying with the way it describes each encounter with It. Hopefully the movie itself improves on what we saw in the trailers.

The director said the original took place in the 50s, so they were scared of old 50s monsters. This one takes place in the 80s so they're scared of monsters from 80s movies.

if you've seen the trailers you've seen the bit with the arm of a werewolf, so i guess we will get the morphs.
i hope this will be more about the atmosphere than the jumpscares
