If you're a Christian, it's a very accurate biopic. If you're Catholic, it's basically 100% accurate portrayal of Jesus and his last moments, as close as it's possible by any metric.

Until Passion we didn't have a single film that didn't go around showing actual pain Jesus went through and not obscuring how guilty the jews actually were. Which is actually the reason it is so denigrated. Jews and their press basically created the "torture porn" meme and it spread to normalfaggots who mindlessly parrot it.

One of the more accurate period pieces ever made. This is how scourging happened. The only possible inaccuracy is that Jesus carries the whole cross up the road... I believe they only carried the horizontal piece... this was depicted in the Jesus of Nazareth miniseries
