What fantasy world are you in where he could have hardballed Putin? Even a nice-guy politician can end an interview if it gets too pointed, and this was with Putin, in Russia, surrounded by his goons. Furthermore, if the point of the exercise is to hear the other side of the story, as it always is with Stone's documentary work, why would he waste the opportunity by trying to tell the guy off for not being Hillary Clinton?
