Forced drama is the worst kind of drama. I watched the first couple episodes and turned it off when Rick came back to camp and his wife didn't immediately spill the beans on what happened. It was fucking retarded. I did come back and watch it, but it's not a very good show. All it does is fill that zombie niche if you're looking for something like it. Could be much worse, though.

First season is great in general. After that it's basically only worth watching if you really enjoy the characters. The overall story is pretty much non-existant and what is there is irrelevant. It's just people trying to survive and very few important things actually happen aside from characters dying/getting hurt.

TWD is a decent show, the issue is that its padded to all hell.

If you want something decent from that universe play the first season of the telltale series. thats some good shit.
